My journey started with a year of beauty therapy training, followed by two years of mastering makeup artistry, alongside countless additional courses and masterclasses to stay at the top of my craft and to keep up with the latest trends and techniques.

 

My name is Naideane, and I’m a passionate beauty expert with over 7 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry. From nails to makeup and beyond, I specialise in creating a personalised and relaxing beauty experience for every client.

​What started as a personal interest and love for experimenting with makeup quickly blossomed into a full-on passion. The more I explored this world, the more I realised it wasn’t just a hobby for me—it was something I wanted to turn into a business. It felt like a natural, no-brainer step to take.

​

This is my 4th year being self-employed, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to do what I love. I split my time between two locations: my home salon, Lounge Luna where I offer personalised 1-1 appointments, and Matilda May, a bustling salon with an incredible team that keeps the energy lively and exciting. Each location offers something different, and I truly enjoy the balance of providing intimate, tailored services at home and being part of the dynamic atmosphere at Matilda May.

Lounge Luna is named after my 8-year-old dog, Luna, who has been my helper throughout this journey. Along with a big thank you to my mum, who allowed me to build my salon in her garden, turning it into a cozy and special space where I can offer clients the best beauty experience.

I also want to take a moment to thank each of you for your ongoing support. Many of you found me, even though I’m not originally from the area, and you trusted me with your beauty needs. That trust has meant the world to me, especially as I’ve faced some personal health challenges along the way. I’ve been diagnosed with various health conditions, but thanks to your understanding and support, I’ve been able to adapt my business to continue providing the best services possible. Your patience and encouragement have been incredibly uplifting, and I am so grateful for every client who has been part of this journey with me.
