Where Lounge Luna started. What brought me to beauty. Becoming a trainer. And The future.

My journey started with a year of beauty therapy training, followed by two years of mastering makeup artistry, alongside countless additional courses and masterclasses to stay at the top of my craft and to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. I originally was not allowed to do beauty (my mum wanted a different route for me). But after following a different path first I know it wasn't for me. So a year later than all my friends, I attended college for beauty and thats what got me here today.

I then had other jobs which I enjoyed; but did not fulfil me the way doing beauty services did, so I knew I just had to focus my time into this.

So I took a jump in 2021 which was a learning curve (negatively but always helps shape you) but got me to where I am, and also helped build me up with my knowledge of business.

Then luck was on my side and the fact my mum was nice enough to allow me to bring my business to our garden, A salon was then built. I have now been working out of this space for 4 years, it's cute and cosy. Everyone loves it.

Then as time went on and I mastered my treatments even more, with studying, patiences and time.

I decided when I trained some courses were so basic; and I taught myself more after them, then when actually attending. That I would invest in myself and my studying to become a beauty educator, and have Lounge Luna create its own training academy. This was a big accomplishment of mine, and the manuals themselves along with all course material took 6 months to create, after I completed my in-depth training. This was so everyone would feel they get the best, and are most confident when walking away.

Now Lounge Luna is a highly recommended home based garden salon, with only 5 star reviews and extremely loyal clients. Numbers don't lie, yes my instagram isn't in the thousands like others, but that doesn't stop anything. I am fully booked, with a growing training academy and a content creator for a nail brand I use.

The future is something that will shift the direction of Lounge Luna, and will create a growing space and team. It will be the next step in time for myself, and those who have the same passion. Not just beauty, but wellness and overall health care is the direction I strive from giving not only beauty treatments, but life changing adaptions and even more. So know this is just the beginning.
